About

I am a HCPC-Registered Practitioner Psychologist with 11 years of post-qualification clinical experience. My psychology training began at Comenius University, where I completed five years of undergraduate and postgraduate education before moving to the UK to undertake my doctoral training in Counselling Psychology (DCounsPsych). Since qualifying, I have worked primarily with adults within the NHS and specialist psychological services, including at senior level.

My background includes physical health psychology, eating disorders, weight management, body image, trauma, relational difficulties, and long-term conditions, alongside broader psychological work.

I am trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Maudsley Model of Anorexia Nervosa Treatment for Adults (MANTRA), and work in a structured, formulation-led way that combines these therapies where appropriate. My training as a Counselling Psychologist is integrative and I draw on a range of psychological models to tailor therapy to individual needs. These includes approaches such as mindfulness, acceptance-commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and more.

I am committed to creating a warm, thoughtful space where you feel genuinely supported while we do this deeper work together. The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process, providing a space where difficult experiences can be explored with curiosity and compassion. I work actively and collaboratively, helping you map out recurring patterns so they become clearer, easier to understand, and more manageable over time.

I also offer clinical supervision and provide therapy online and face-to-face in English, Slovak, and Czech languages.
